The location of the hotel was suburban, near to take-away restaurants as well as the Springfield train station. Tried some takeout specials at Big Tuna Fish Co, luckily it was within a close distance from the venue...

The hotel's location is alright, with a few shops nearby. the room and bathroom were in reasonable condition, and the service was friendly. the hotel lacks any standout facilities or room advantages compared to other hotels at similar price points.
The hotel's system for communicating charges between the restaurant and the front desk is poor. This led to me being charged for something I didn't have, and it took a lot of effort to sort it out.

We recently went on a romantic escape and it was just what we needed. the room was so spacious and clean, with an amazing bathroom. the small shopping area nearby had everything we needed, including great restaurants and cafes. We were also pleasantly surprised by the weekend basket of fresh towels and coffee/tea/milk.
That there was no microwave in the room. This was unfortunate given the rate we paid, as we had planned on staying in and cooking a few meals ourselves.

The room was clean and spacious and had great amenities. The location was also key, being close to a variety of food options and nice walks nearby. We particularly enjoyed the in-house restaurant and bar which had a great selection of food and drinks.
There was no covered car parking and there was no room service available for either breakfast or dinner. When we asked about it, we were suggested to go for a walk and buy dinner from one of the nearby restaurants which we thought was strange since there was a restaurant in-house.
